No but these really are all flawless representations of Allison’s development through the seasons. First, that carefree teenager falling in love, the girl we were so scared was going to become just a simpleton love interest for a goofy protagonist. But she quickly proved us wrong. Soon came that same teenager, grief stricken and pressured into something uncertain and terrifying, but liberating. She has a moment where she sees and she lives with the evil in a hunter, in herself, and she decides to put it behind her, to use her talents for good instead and truly understand why her mother died. And then she’s a woman - the picture of elegance and yet still a force to be reckoned with - who has grown up too quickly but has finally settled into who she is and where she stands in her family, changing their ancient code because now she’s the one who knows better. She’s embraced the supernatural, growing stronger in the face of it even if sometimes she wishes she didn’t take advantage of those short months when she was happy and unaware and in love, still with a perfect grade in Econ. And finally, a fallen warrior, gone but still an abiding presence in the life of her friends, an influence and an inspiration that they’ll soon come to remember and appreciate rather than mourn, because they lost her to the very thing she tried her hardest to fight. She fought to the end, she died in battle and she proved to herself that she was better and stronger than she ever thought she would be.
If you don’t think Allison Argent was one of the most well-developed, beautifully flawed and authentic characters on television, you should probably think again.

Rachel and I are having a real af discussion about how this fandom demonizes and blames Jeff for every bad/disagreeable thing that happens on teen wolf and how they completely ignore how a lot of the time he’s just following/respecting what the cast wants (i.e. Crystal leaving and asking that Allison be killed bc that’s the only way she saw Allison leaving her friends) and doing the best with the time frame he’s given (i.e. not knowing Colton was leaving until after s2 wrapped hence his shitty send off) but the fandom acts like he’s the worst thing in the world when he works his ass off to give us a lot of what we want (like the insane improvement from s4 to s5) and tbh the fandom is just rude and ungrateful as fuck and I’m glad Rachel understands me because I feel like it’s such an unpopular opinion but it’s makes me so angry to see this ridiculous demonization of Jeff when he doesn’t deserve it and idk I’m ranting now
